Off the back of record sales at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, and celebrating the handover last week of the 55th boat sold, Integrity Motor Yachts is focusing on this weeks Sydney Boat Show and the introduction of a brand new range.
“The Grand Sedan range came about from feedback and input from existing clients,” explained Integrity Managing Director and co-founder, Brett Flanagan. “Our owners are moving up in size and wanted something to tick all the boxes. The 460 Grand Sedan, launching in August, and the 490 Grand Sedan which will follow, will be the Australian-designed, semi-custom, luxury cruiser they’re looking for.”
The 460 Grand Sedan and 490 Grand Sedan will comprise a premium finish and all-new layout and new semi-displacement hull.
“The new hull and 480 Cummins engine will deliver a top speed of 17 knots,” said Brett, adding that feedback showed the Baby Boomer market wanted all the amenities, optional extras for most brands, with exceptional fuel economy and a bit more speed to get between anchorages quicker, plus a bit more of a thrill!
Inside the 8-berth 460, the rearranged saloon, galley and helm areas are still in the open plan entertaining style layout Integrity is known for, but with several enhancements that elevate the 460 above its rivals. Along with the use of high quality materials and finishes, the styling is sleek and minimalist, awaiting the customised preferences of clients.
“The dual helm seats make the helm station 1.5m so that two people can share the fun of driving their boat,” said Brett. “Below decks, the master stateroom mid-ships features a walk-around bed and heaps of storage. In the first two models, owners wanted the option of specially-designed bunk beds up the front, with loads of storage, but you can have an island bed if you like.”
Since its inception nearly seven years ago, Integrity has attracted the discerning Baby Boomer market – those well-heeled semi-retired boaties known for being extremely canny with their money.
“Yes, they want quality, but they are also looking for good value,” Brett observed. “They worked hard to make their money and they’re not about to fling it about.”
Interestingly, while the brand counts many high net worth individuals among its clientele, it’s the women who are most avid in their appreciation of the added extras included in each Integrity.
“They’re impressed that everything is included in the price. We work closely with many women on their ideal layout, colour combinations, materials, galley fit-out and personalised touches. We intend to take this level of personalisation to the next level in the Grand Sedan series.”
Another addition to the Integrity fleet is the 460 Raised Pilot House, which has already attracted two new owners since its launch at Sanctuary Cove. It features a generous, free-flowing space from cockpit to saloon, ideal for entertaining, with loads of storage, stability at sea and highly competitive fuel economy for long-range cruising. With the new semi-displacement hull, the 460 Raised Pilot House is attracting a new wave of owners, keen for the best blend of classic attributes with contemporary styling.
The first 460 Grand Sedan arrives in August, with two more in build plus two Raised Pilot House models underway, and Brett states he couldn’t be prouder.
“We have 14 boats in build across the range after a staggering run of recent sales. Even the GFC didn’t stop our growth,” he says. “Our owners are dedicated boaties and they have warmed to the values Integrity embodies and the excellent pricing for exceptional boats.
