In response to rapid expansion of the Whitehaven Group, Spectrum Marine has welcomed onboard Gavin Ward who will manage the day-to-day operations and drive sales across brokerage and Spectrum Marine’s new boat brands, including Whitehaven, Aquila and Integrity.
With a background in sales from many years with Windcraft, Gavin also brings his substantial expertise gained from a decade or so as CEO in the corporate sector.
As Gavin explains, “I have a genuine passion for boating. Most of my life I have owned them, raced them, built them, repaired them.
I’m passionate about product and the industry and I love talking to people about boats. I could do it all day! I’m lucky it’s a profession!
“In this role I will be working to build the profiles of Spectrum Marine and the brands we represent of Whitehaven, Integrity and Aquila, each which occupy a distinctly different market proposition to potential buyers. I’m also looking forward to contributing to some exciting developments that are to be soon launched, with the first being the new Integrity PLUS range of models the brand has in development.
We are also looking to enhance our position as a premium and professional Brokerage Business that puts its clients first. It’s a great time for our industry. We’re enjoying a huge amount of enquiry as people follow their hearts and make boating a priority. It’s all about family and leisure time, making memories. Nothing better than that!”
Gavin will be part of the Whitehaven Group team at the 2022 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 19 to 22 May on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
