We are thrilled to welcome Chris and Annette Janes to our Integrity dealer network. Chris and Annette head up Marine One, based at Westhaven Marina, Auckland.
Chris worked for two decades in the automotive industry, running a dealership and travelling to Japan to buy cars, where he spent his down time inspecting boats and buying them to sell in NZ.
He decided to pursue his first love and switch to the boating industry and for many years, he ran one of the most successful regional dealerships for an Aussie brand.
When the GFC hit, Chris went back to cars, always with the intention of returning when the economy levelled out.
Keen boaties themselves, Chris and Annette established Marine One, which they run with the support of contractors, Skipper and broker, Sophie and her fiancé, George, a qualified electrical technician who handles servicing and maintenance.
Speaking from Thailand where he and Annette are enjoying a well-deserved vacation and enjoying the boating lifestyle, Chris said, “Over the years, I learned that the customer is the most important person in the equation.
“From customer feedback, I found that service and support are crucial. It’s not enough to sell a boat, you have to be 100 percent customer focused and that is why the Whitehaven Group appealed to us”
