Earlier last month, we were proud to announce the world debut of our 460SX. Although the event was overshadowed by world events, her new owners’ excitement was in no way diminished when ‘Abbey Road’ was handed over.
Alison and Peter are second time Integrity owners and the Integrity Motor Yachts team sincerely thank the loyal couple for their trust and commitment to our brand. We sat down with the couple to learn more about their journey with Integrity.
“Our relationship with Integrity Motor Yachts started back in November 2017. We were in the market for a boat and had always appreciated the trawler-style vessel. The Sanctuary Cove dealer had a small private event which we attended and as soon as we stepped on board the 380 Sedan we really liked the boat. The cockpit was spacious as was the saloon and galley area. We liked the walk around decks, the door beside the helm station, and the interior design. Shortly afterward we ordered that boat and took delivery in May 2018.
We have really enjoyed the 380 mostly cruising the Gold Coast’s Broadwater relaxing at anchor at our favourite spot. The dogs can run and play on the sandbar whilst we relax, swim, and catch up with the many boating friends we have made over the years. We started having sunset happy hours on the beach and lighting a campfire and many people joined in bringing their drinks, munchies, chairs, and little tables.
Then in mid-2019, after the staff at the Integrity Dealership in Sanctuary Cove (Spectrum Marine) released information of the new 460SX model, we decided to upgrade. It was larger and roomier. The master cabin was more spacious, and we were able to plan a queen size walk around bed. This cabin had an ensuite and the boat has more storage not just for personal items but fuel and water. It was the perfect step up in size for us in every way.
Once we have settled in with ‘Abbey Road’, we and some boating friends plan to travel further north than the Gold Coast for maybe a couple of weeks. Possibly we will go as far as the Keppel Islands off Rockhampton. These trips are yet to be planned. We know this vessel could take us to the Whitsundays if we ever wanted to go that far although we have no plans at this stage. Our days of traveling fast are behind us and we appreciate the fuel efficiency of the Integrity motor yachts. They are good cruising boats.”
